Description

A two-player, asymmetric, abstract strategy game where one player controls eleven pieces spanning the entire lower row of a vertical grid board and which may only move directly upwards one spot at a time, may not move backwards, and cannot make any captures. They are trying to get any one of their pieces across the yellow line at the top of the board. The other player controls five pieces that just defend against the oncoming invasion. They have for black blocker pieces and one yellow striker. The blockers may move as a queen in chess does, as many spaces as they like in any direction. They cannot make captures, but they other player's pieces cannot move past them. The yellow striker moves as a king in chess does, one space in any direction, and will capture any of the opponent's pieces it lands on, pushing it through the grid of the board and out the other side. Red wins if they make it to the endzone with any of their pieces. The defenders win if they manage to do that by either eliminating all of the opponent's pieces or enough that their blockers stop the remaining pieces.
