Ahoy Taverneer is an asymmetric Roll&Write board game telling the story of a retired pirate who doesn't quite want to give up his pirate habits. The game will allow you to freely choose the methods by which you will achieve final success. You have 8 rounds to gather Fame Stars using Dice rolls and effect cards. You can focus entirely on: Running your tavern business. Returning to the seas and oceans to plunder, loot, search for treasures, fight merchants and gain fame by hunting mythical sea creatures. Trading in other ports, acquiring exotic goods and gold. Conducting shady deals in the city of Nassau itself, where a club and a knife in dark alleys solve almost all local problems. Hosting the crews of other pirate ships in your cozy tavern, with suitably pirate-friendly service. Or a combination of all of the above.
