Futebol Club
1979
Published by Gulliver Games Inc., Gulliver
Soccer simulator game, exclusively manufactured in Brazil, using miniature players with an articulated leg and different foot models for various types of kicks. This game was created in 1979 and is still played and sold in the country, though it is little known outside of it. It features a fragile fabric field, which many players prefer to replace with carpet. Like any soccer simulator, Futebol Club Gulliver aims for immersion in the game of football, and many of its rules are the same as those adopted by the sport, with only a few adjustments to fit the game's structure. The game uses point-to-point movement and skill as its mechanics. The objective is to defeat the opponent by scoring the most goals, just like in football.
