Giant Word Game
2002
Published by Place & Time
Giant Word Game has 100 large durable plywood letter tiles, 10cm x 10cm, suitable for playing on the floor or outside on the lawn. The rules are minimal. Players each draw a number of tiles, then the 2 blank tiles are added back and the remainder are spread face down. Then players "race to complete the biggest word first". Filling in the rest, presumably: There are no turns; play is simultaneous. The blank tiles are wild and can be used as any letter. At any time a player may discard one of their tiles to take one from the "table". The first player to use all their letters to spell a valid word wins. If no one wins before a certain amount of time has passed, the player with the longest valid word wins. —user summary
