Description

Spell Wizard has a bag with 205 letter tiles, and a box with 196 cards which each have three letter groupings that commonly occur in words, e.g.: lis age ent A turn consists drawing a card, taking 13 tiles from the bag, and using those tiles to make one word for each of the three letter groupings, e.g.: lis ten eng age c ent er The points for each word are 1 for each letter added to the grouping. Blank tiles can stand for any letter, but do not add to the score. The word's points are doubled if there are letters placed on both sides of the grouping (as in c ent er); doubled if five or more letters are added to the grouping; tripled if both. After an agreed-on number of turns per player, the one with the highest score wins. Also included are a 3-minute timer, and a pocket dictionary. Several variations are also included in the rules.
