Description

In CATCH and RUN, Players are either student penguins trying to escape, or educator penguins trying to catch the students. The game is played on a grid of floor tiles, each with a color and a number of shapes on them. Each turn, all players select cards and a movement direction and simultaneously reveal them. First, if possible, each player moves their penguin in the direction they revealed. Then the played cards are evaluated. Cards show either a number, a shape, or a color. Each floor tile matching the combined aspects of the revealed cards is flipped to its destroyed side. For example, if the cards revealed are 3, 4, green, and circle, all tiles that are green with either 3 or 4 circles will be flipped. If a penguin was on a tile that got flipped, or if a student penguin is on the same space as an educator penguin, that penguin is captured. The educator penguins win by catching the student penguins enough times. The student penguins win by evading capture until the end of 8 rounds.
