Das wurmt is the short card game about long worms that get longer until they are short enough. There are worm ends on the playing field, each with a head card in the same colour. If you turn the head, you discover a worm appendix, which makes this worm grow longer. However, the actual growth only becomes visible when the next head is played and the previous head is turned over again. As not all worm appendages are the same, some worms can grow faster and others slower, depending on which card is played.
