What is boring with the classic game? To us, missing your shot is boring and the fact that the game can drag out. In this version, you get a Maneuver Point (MP) every time you miss. This makes it a bit more fun to miss, since once you have a few MPs these can be used to trigger powerful actions such as releasing depth charges (efficient to find those elusive submarines), activate radar systems or firing of a cruise missile that travels over a full column or row until it hits a ship. —description from the designer
