Good evening! Welcome to La Ruina! "La Ruina" is a hugely successful podcast in Spain, and now it has its own board game. Tonight, thanks to this game, you're going to be part of the show. We want to hear your most pathetically funny story: that date that went wrong, the time you threw up during a work meeting, or that night you thought a taxi driver had kidnapped you. Don't be shy, because in *La Ruina*, misery wins prizes. In La Ruina, each player receives 3 scoring cards numbered 1 to 3, and a Chair card with a letter. The Concept deck is shuffled, and 4 cards are revealed to inspire the stories. Players who wish to participate place their Chair card in the game box. The Chair cards are shuffled, and the first card revealed indicates who will be the first to share their "Ruina", followed by the others. Only three people will share their stories, even if more Chair cards are in the box. After hearing the three stories, everyone votes by giving a Scoring card to those who shared their anecdotes, without being able to vote for themselves. The player with the most points wins the game. If there's a tie, it s simply accepted. After the voting, another round can be played to let others share their Ruinas. Laughter is guaranteed! —description from the publisher Buenas noches! Bienvenidos y bienvenidas a La Ruina! —description from the publisher (Spanish)
