Description

Welcome to Blitzkrieg, a battle royal solitaire game, best entertainment of the 21 century, 2029! Your goal is to survive 6 arenas, going from one to another, traversing a large map of the unnamed city ruins and be the one who made the most eliminations and scored the most points. This is a solitaire card game compacted in one deck of 54 cards that can be played under 1 h. GAME OBJECTIVE and GAME DIFICULTY To win the game you must score enough points and survive all 6 Arenas. If you are playing an easy game you must score at least 70 points and you can start the game with one weapon. Medium game difficulty demands that you score at least 80 points and you may choose to start with one weapon. Hard game is only for the veterans of this sport, you must score at least 90 points and if you are true warrior you will not take one weapon at the beginning of the game. GAME SETUP To setup the game, shuffle 48 Blitzkrieg cards and place them face down in the center of your play area, use space to the right of the deck as your discard pile. Then draw 3 cards from the top of the Blitzkrieg deck, keeping them face down and unrevealed, and place them somewhere near as these cards will represent your lives . Therefore, you start with 3 lives for the whole game and you can t increase that number beyond 3 cards. After that draw one card from the Blitzkrieg deck into your hand as your starting weapon. If you prefer more realistic Battle royal experience, you may skip this part and start with no weapons at all! We recommend this only if you are veteran of the sport. Next thing you need to do is to shuffle Arena deck and draw 3 cards from it, you need to choose your drop point . Basically, out of 3 cards you drew, you can ARENA CARDS (6 of them) BLITZKRIEG CARDS (48 of them) POISON GAS CARD (only one) Choose your starting Arena. After picking one card to keep, shuffle other two back into the Arena deck. Place your starting Arena card above the Blitzkrieg deck and set the Poison gas on the left side of the chosen Arena card. Keep the Arena deck close by as you ll need it later. GAME TURN and ACTIONS Each turn in Blitzkrieg starts by drawing 3 cards from the Blitzkrieg deck face down on the table. Then, you can always flip one card face up and choose one out of three actions: ENGAGE, LOOT or MOVE. You can t do the same action twice (unless some card effects allows it) and you must do and resolve all three actions during your turn. After you finish your actions, you will go to the next turn, again drawing 3 cards and continue with your actions until you either deplete the deck or have to move to next Arena. MOVE ACTION After flipping one of the cards from your queue, you my decide to resolve card event by using a MOVE action. If you do, first resolve the text, then discard the card you performed action on. Events can give you additional actions, shuffle cards from the discard pile back into the Blitzkrieg deck and other way around or end your fight in the current arena and give you an option to move to the next one. After resolving the card event, check if the card hasPoison Gas icon, if it has you will have to move the Poison Gas card. LOOT ACTION Always remember that you can flip one of the cards from your queue before resolving an action. In case of looting, you add that card to your had as your weapon. You can t carry more than 4 weapons (unless some Arena effects change that rule) and you can carry duplicates of the same weapon. ENGAGE ACTION After flipping one of the cards from your queue, you my decide to engage the target. First, choose which weapon from your arsenal you want to use. All targets have Strength and Range on which you re engaging them. To kill the target you need to deal damage with your weapon that is equal or higher then their Strength. As every weapon has different damage depending on the range you re firing at, split into three brackets x/y/z, which represents how much damage that weapon deals on CR, MR and
