Will you find the Sun Beneath? The Sun Beneath is a cooperative, asymmetric 2-player game. One player takes on the role of the Cavern, and the other takes on the role of the Captain. With limited communication, both players work together to navigate the Cavern s shifting tunnels, fend off Horrors, and investigate Rumors to locate the Sun Beneath. Starting with the Cavern player, players take turns performing actions in sequence until the game ends, either when they win by retrieving the Sun Beneath Token, or lose by accumulating too many Fear Cards or when their Supply Deck runs out. —description from the designer
