Hodge Podge Dodgeball exists in the small village of Longcoat, England where raccoons are competing in their Dodgeball League Championship! Players try to dodge getting hit (taking a trick) in this avoidance, team, must-not-follow trick-taker. At the start of the round, players create their bench with their cards. Then they play tricks which entail any amount of catching, dodging, or blocking balls. Players must be careful, as their hand of cards is their life and if they are hit, they must send a card (a raccoon) to their bench. If a player is out of cards or cannot make a valid play, their team loses! —description from the designer
