Flag-Stones
1969
Published by Tri-ang
An abstract game for two players. The pieces have space for a flag to be inserted. As you move pieces, the direction on the flag determines in which direction the piece is moved. Alternatively, if you want a piece to go in a different direction then you must spend a turn moving a flag into a different direction. Object of the Game: To convert two Flag-Stones into Corner-Stones by occupying the 'Home Corners'. The first player to do so is the winner. How to Win: The first player to convert two flagstones into cornerstones is the winner. Should neither player be able to convert two flagstones into cornerstones, the winner is the player who has managed to convert one cornerstone. The game is drawn if: (a) Neither player can complete a cornerstone, or (b) If both players can only complete one cornerstone each. The game includes rules for playing traditional games Draughts and Fox & Geese.
