Description

The Greatest Motoring Game of Skill Ever Invented An antique Car Racing Game dating from the early Twentieth century c.1910 s. The game plays on a large, two-fold game board and uses six Racing Car pieces and a dice. It is stated that the cars move by an entirely new method, no dice or mechanical device being employed. It therefore appears to be an early ancestor of the better known Formula 1 by Waddingtons. The Racing Circuit depicted on the board has corners marked Mountjoy and Gough , indicating that it is based on the Phoenix Park Circuit in Dublin, Ireland. Made in England by H. P. Gibson & Sons, London, later known as Gibsons. Similar to: Formula 1
