Description

There was more than warm hospitality extended to us as visitors to an unexplored land. As we speak to the master, the people around us stop and stare, showing expressions of interest, curiosity, suspicion, and disgust. But there's nothing to worry about. In my hands is a book left behind by a great linguist. Come on, let's learn all about the Numerous Rituals! アマタノ儀式 (Amatano Gisiki / Numerous Rituals) is a communication game in which players perform rituals using the languages of various cultures. In Interpretation (the cooperative game), players work together to perform as many rituals as they can in 10 minutes. The master speaks the language of another culture, the interpreter translates it, and the other players have to guess the ritual without looking at the language record. In the Study Session (competitive game), students compete to be the best at understanding different cultural languages. Players take turns as the master and exchange questions with each other. This mode tests both your ability to speak and listen to different cultural languages. Both modes of play use only one language per game. Each language has various characteristics and ranges from easy to difficult to understand. There are 26 different languages included in the Intercultural Languages book. There is also a tutorial and a practice language sheet. As soon as you open the box, you can play and learn the game!
