Mini Skittles consists of 10 wooden pins, approximately 2.5 inches in height, and one wooden ball, approximately 1.25 inches in diameter. The pins are set up by hand on a smooth floor or low-pile carpet. The ball is used to knock them down. Instructions are included for three different games. The games can be played by 2-5 individuals or teams with an equal number of players. Skittles uses nine pins in a diamond formation. Scoring is based on the number of pins knocked down within a given number of throws. Ten-pin Bowling uses all ten pins in a traditional triangular pattern. Scoring is based on the number of pins knocked down within ten frames, with bonuses for spares and strikes. Canadian Five-pin Bowling uses five pins in a vee formation.
