Heralds of Defeat is a Free PnP Tactical level board-wargame that recreates the Civil War inside a Civil War that took place in Madrid during the first week of the last month of the Spanish Civil War. As Madrid's Republican garrison split in two factions: Socialists and Anarchists seeking a peace agreement with Franco and the Comunists trying to extend the war, this two player game pits them into a bitter battle downtwon Madrid and its close environments.
