The Battle of Stoczek took place on the 14th February 1831 during the Polish–Russian War 1830–31. The Polish forces were victorious and Russians suffered heavy casualties. The Polish forces, commanded by J zef Dwernicki, consisted of some 4,700 soldiers, including 2,200 cavalry, whereas Russians, led by Teodor Geismar, had around 2,100 soldiers. The game uses the Napoleon system by Taktyka i Strategia.
