Taktyka i Strategia #46 offers two battles using the Napoleon wargaming system: Dobre 1831 and Zakrzew-Pniewnik 1831. Both battles took place during the the Polish–Russian War 1830–31, also called the November Uprising 1830–31. During the Battle of Dobre, the Polish forces were commanded by Gen. Jan Zygmunt Skrzynecki, whereas Russians by Grigorij Rosen. The result of the battle was rather inconclusive, although in terms of dead soldiers, Russians suffered heavier losses: Poles lost some 200-300 soldiers while Russians some 750 soldiers. The battles at Zakrzew and Pniewnik were two small engagements, involving a detachment from Gen. Skrzynecki's main forces. At Zakrzew, Poles surprised the Russian forces, attacked them and forced them to leave Zakrzew. After that, maintaining the momentum, they continued the attack towards Pniewnik, where they also forced the Russian forces to flee. The games use the Napoleon system by Taktyka i Strategia.
