Description

Pachislot Simulator is a stochastic deduction game, where players try to determine which of six unidentified stacks of cards has specific makeups. Each stack of cards has a different population of eight types of cards; one may have an abundance of "grape" cards, and another may have a paucity. To start the game, the stacks are randomly labeled 1 through 6, and during the game, the players attempt to determine which stack has which makeup. (The makeups are printed on the back of a player screen.) The game takes place over four rounds, and in each round, the players have 4 minutes to look through the deck(s) of cards and try to do their deduction. More specifically, each player has one deck and a time, and can do the following procedure, in real-time. Look at 3 cards from the top of the deck, and note what you saw. Then, shuffle that deck, look at the top 3 cards, take any notes, and repeat. After each round of searching, players have a limited amount of time to take notes before the next round begins. The person to correctly identify the most correct correspondences of the numbered decks to their actual composition wins.
