Part of the Age of Battles: Napeonic Wars – Rulebook (3rd Edition) table-top gaming system using 1/72 scale miniatures, the Crusaders box set covers the battles of Dorylaeum (1097) and Arsuf (1191). Box contents include: 2 Sets of miniatures - 12 foot and 11 mounted Saracen Warriors (8009) - 25 foot and 9 mounted Christian Knights (8002) 1 Exclusive priest miniature 8 Regiment stands 8 Regiment cards 16 Flag stickers 1 Pen 2 Rulers 1 Angle pattern 1 Age of Battles rule book 1 Crusaders game booklet 1 D20 die Note that the miniature sets included are actually Italeri miniatures. From the back of the box: The military-historical game "The Crusaders" reflects the events that took place in the end of the XI th-XII th centuries when numerous crusader armies moved to the East to free the sacred city of Jerusalem from the Saracens. This game is for 2-6 players. The enemy armies led by the players meet in a desert in Asia Minor. Tactic maneuvering are very important in the gane. Under a skillful leader a smaller army can defeat numerous enemies. You can either recreate the historic battle or change the course of the fight.
