困兽犹斗 – 日德兰海战（Battle of Jutland） is the 7th game of Kilovolt Design's mini war series, it's a small wargame depicting the famed battle of Juland: the greatest naval engagement of the great war, and probably one of the most studied surface action in human history. The game covers the entire battle from first contact between the battle-cruisers, to the withdrawal of fleets in 9 turns (each turn represents roughly 30 mins). Each counter in game represents a squadron of ships, and are separated into 3 major types: capital ships, cruisers and destroyer/torpedo boats. Capital ships have the best firepower and range, their attacks could also suppress the enemy squadron and reduce the accuracy of their fire. Cruisers are fast and nimble, ideal for protecting the battleline from torpedo attacks. The destroyers makes up their lack of firepower by the best mobility and the ability to launch torpedo attacks: those attacks could render the target in a disorganized state as the ships in the squadron attempt to evade the torpedoes and breaks up the battle line, resulting in diminished combat capabilities over the next turn.
