1862: USA&Canada is a railroad construction and stock game. The author prefers to play with 4 or 5 players! Historical specifications have been taken into account as far as possible. In other places, history should and must be rewritten. It is based on 1862, set in the same region and with the same companies. When developing 1862: USA&Canada, attention was paid to a reduce the playing time. A game lasts about 240 to 300 minutes. Players invest in railway companies. They create a rail network with track tiles on the game board and drive these routes with their trains and generate income. The player with the most shares in a railway company is its director. He decides whether this income will be distributed to shareholders as a dividend or whether it will be added to the company's treasury for future investments. With 7 train types from 2 to 8, the progress over time and the technical development is shown. As with many games in this series, there are similarities within the rules, but many have subtle differences that give each and every 18xx game its character. These include: The companies gradually come into play in 3 groups. She can buy back shares, even from players, which is good for the company but bad for your share limit. Bonus rides and tokens are integrated into the game in a new way. Trains can be bought either as "normal" trains or as E-trains and many other little things! -description from designer
