Description

Czerwony Huragan (Red Thunderstorm) presents the last months of the Third Reich. The Southern Group of Soviet forces starts the final strike into the heart of Germany - Berlin. Field Marschal Koniev is competing with Zukhow to be the first to reach Berlin. The first strike of Soviet forces is overwhelming - they break through German lines and move forward, but the Germans do not give up. They pull up their last remaining reinforcements and counter at the stretched south flank of the Red Army, which happens to be the Polish II Army. The fierce and bloody battle begins where prisoners are not taken. The game uses rules of the "WB95" (Great Battles 1939-1945) system designed for dealing with large battles of World War II. Counters represent regiments (Germans) or divisions (Russians), one hex represents about 2500m, one turn represents one day.
