Players are occupants of a small village on the outskirts of Athens in 2500 BC competing while building a temple to a Greek goddess. At the beginning of the game, players choose secretly from the following goddesses: Aphrodite (love), Artemis (hunting), Athena (wisdom), Demetra (agriculture), Hestia (the hearth) and Nike (victory). The player who collects the most construction points earns the right to dedicate the temple to their chosen goddess. Other players who selected this goddess also win. If the temple is not constructed in the alloted time period, Zeus names the temple for himself and no player wins.
