Description

アンティークアンフェア (Antique Unfair) is a card game from Japan. The game offers one mode of play for 2 to 4 players, and a solo variant playing against the game. Both modes come with an easy rules set to introduce the game and more rigid rules set to play a harder game. In Antique Unfair, players are competing to obtain different antiques and artworks at auction. The items on sale have different qualities (cost/follow/value/points) and players are trying to score points progressively, or achieve an instant win by meeting their specific goals. The designer says to focus on reading the other players' intentions based on what is offered for sale, and bluff them out of their targets. In the solo mode, the player is trying to keep fakes out of the market, and build up a special collection. As the player repeats the game, they can learn to achieve higher goals. user summary
