Description

ヒポカンコール (Hipocan CALL) is a push-your-luck memory game from Japan. The game has a deck of cards with a white side and a black side. Each side has an image of some animal and a number, one or two digits. Some cards are dealt up to the table. A player declares a target they will reach and start by selecting the first card, and then turning it over and adding the value together. They can choose whether to go on or stop there. If they go on, they add the next card and its flipside too. If they go bust, they are out of the round. If the player chooses to stop, another player can decide they will continue the run, at the risk of going bust. The last player standing wins. The game relies on a certain amount of memory of the values on the flipsides of the cards, by tying the numbers to the animals in the players' minds. user summary
