Battles: North Africa is a 1-2 player tactical skirmish print and play wargame depicting British Army operations against the German Army in North Africa during 1942-1943. The game features 3 types of missions and 10 battle maps. Campaigns consist of either 5 or 10 random linked skirmish battles, including missions such as Meeting Engagements and Defending Villages. The game features an advanced enemy German Army AI bot opponent which makes calculated decisions based on its current situation. Day/night, weather, line of sight, suppression, and 7 terrain types with movement/cover effects are also included. Players will be able to improve their units' skill levels by doing well on the battlefield. With most of the rules integrated into the tables, there is practically no learning curve or rules memorization. And with 10 enemy unit types, 10 battle maps, an advanced AI bot opponent, randomized enemy German Army setup, randomized enemy German Army skill levels, moderate table footprint, and quick setup/breakdown times, Battles: North Africa offers an entertaining game for players of all skill levels, plus great replay value. The player will move his units through hexes on a battle map, while attempting to destroy enemy units. Game components include a various battle maps, tables book, unit status sheets, campaign log, and counter sheets representing individual units, etc. The game is available as Print and Play on Wargame Vault.
