One of the most important discoveries in modern archeology occurred on November 26, 1922, when the tomb of Pharaoh Tutankhamun, from the 18th dynasty, was found. After cataloging all the treasures in the chambers, Carter arrived at the royal chamber where the pharaoh's sarcophagus had rested for three thousand years. From then on, people who had visited the tomb began to die, this fact is popularly known as the Pharaoh's curse.
