Must Follow (Big Lie) is a trick-taking adjacent game which uses cards that have words on them, rather than the expected suit and rank cards. The lead person plays a card from their hand, and the other players "must follow", but rather than following suit, they will follow through word association. The lead person then declares who has done the worst job of following, and that player is eliminated from contention of winning the trick. Next, the lead person will declare who has done the best job of following, and that player is also eliminated from contention of winning the trick! The remaining player wins the trick. Players are, of course, encouraged to plead their case.
