This is an elaboration of the idea behind the traditional word game Ghost. The deck has 61 letter cards: one is dealt to the table as the key letter, and the rest evenly divided among the 2-6 players. On their turn, a player plays a card so that it adds to either a row or column of letters that include the key letter. The row or column played to must spell part of a valid word, whether read forwards or backwards, without actually finishing a complete word. A player who finishes a word, or makes an invalid set of letters, or cannot make a valid play, or loses a challenge to a play, gains a point. The round ends and the deck is shuffled for another round. When a player reaches a certain number of points they are out; the last player left wins. —user summary
