Stacks is a fast-playing, abstract tactical game for two players. The game is played on a 5 x 5 grid (25 spaces in total). Each player gets 10 playing pieces either in red or black. Your pieces start on stacks of 2 on your own home spaces, adjacent to the main playing grid. In each turn, a player can move one or more of their pieces across the board. The aim of the game is to get four or more of your pieces into the opponent s home spaces, or to eliminate six or more of the opponent s pieces. The game is easy to learn, and is highly re-playable, offering players interesting and difficult tactical and strategic choices.
