Take turns placing a card on the left or right of an ever-growing line. The line must always be a potential word, but if you ever finish the word, your opponent wins a point! Similarly, if you ever place a card so that no potential word can be made (and your opponent challenges you), they win a point. Each round starts with a tricky attempt to avoid making tiny words, and then usually finishes when you run out of long words to make given the cards played.
