Kung-Fu is played on a 10*9 field. Each player has 3 pieces, 1 great master (Shihan) and 2 fighters (Bujin), which he places on his baseline. Players move their pieces alternately and have to allocate 2 movement points to their pieces. On squares that the pieces leave, they leave obstacle stones (Ate, 30 pieces). These can be jumped over if the square behind them is free. 3 special obstacle stones (Geri) prevent them from being jumped over. There are 3 ways to win the battle, a) move your own Shihan to the opponent's baseline or b) capture the opponent's Shihan or c) capture the opponent's Bujin and immobilise the opponent's Shihan. Any other result is considered a stalemate. —user summary
