This is a freebie game designed by Toryo Hojo and requires players to provide their own pieces for play. It was included in the Spring 2021 Market Crash pack. Two players compete in a tabletop game of bocce. Players from the red side and the blue side compete by throwing the ball into the court. First, a white ball called jack is thrown into the court, and then the red and the blue sides both throw a ball toward the jack. The side with the ball farthest from the jack is the side that throws their balls in first. When one team has used up all their balls, the other team throws their remaining balls into the court. When all the balls have been thrown into the court, the side with the ball closest to the jack scores. The throws are determined via dice rolls, which also determine the initial drop point of the thrown ball, any deflections of the ball if it collides with another, and the final landing space of all balls involved in the throw and resulting collisions. The board is comprised of a matrix of potential die rolls. And advanced game adds "focus," which is used to give better direction to the throws.
