The basic rules for playing Run For President are simple: 1. Starting with four random state cards each, the players take turns asking another player for a state touching (geographically) one they are holding. If they get the card they get to keep asking. If not, they draw the top state from the deck. 2. When a player gets four states that are connected geographically, he or she puts the cards down and those electoral votes are theirs. The player claims the votes by taking the states from the puzzle board. The game continues until all the states are won. The player with the most electoral votes is the winner.
