Simple, basic mechanics, but with lots of basic combat options. Unlike Barbarossa Brief from which it was adapted, Postcard Barbarossa! uses a simple factor differential/comparison combat system which can be (and usually is) made nightmarishly unpredictable by a Special Factor Pressed Attack or Desperate Defense rule. This makes it an excellent solitaire game. China's Banner of War will soon be publishing the game in larger, boxed format with already mounted pieces.
