Description

The Good News! Bad News! game is a cross between Monopoly and Life with a twist. You can move your pieces by using a roll of the dice (Luck) or you can use the Rubik's cube-like pyramid called a "Pyraminx" (Minimal SKill) to decide how far to move. By twisting the pyramid in a certain way you can guarantee yourself so may places to move. Avoiding low paying vocation spaces, for which you qualify initially, maximizes your chance to later get more than your fair share of the lucrative positions after attaining higher educational qualifications. Of course, even an expert can not expect to get all of the best jobs, but what you can do is leave some low paying ones vacant and "Bad News" all opponents into financial oblivion! The designated "Adult cards" can be excluded when playing with children or adults who are sensitive to the subjects on the Bad News cards. No cards are really X-rated, but some Adult Cards quote embarrassing subjects from newspapers or TV which must pertain to someone! Use discretion and delete cards which could be found objectionable. Or just go ahead and offend your friends!
