The period of the Polish–Ukrainian War of 1918–1919 is extremely important not only for understanding the processes of Ukrainian statehood formation but also for realizing the causes of contemporary geopolitical events. Unfortunately, this war is not given enough attention in the school curriculum, so many people are unaware of its scale and significance. This was the impetus for the creation of a strategic and historical board game dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the formation of the West Ukrainian People's Republic. The developers studied more than 20 historical sources and memoirs, and consulted with professional historians who have been researching this period. All game elements were developed with historical accuracy in mind.
