Description

Explosion is played on a 6x6 grid with pieces having different colors on each side. Each turn a player adds one piece to the board, either to an empty space or a space with their color showing. Each space has a capacity, which is the number of orthogonally adjacent spaces; if the space played in is now at capacity, it explodes, meaning the pieces are distributed to the adjacent spaces. If a piece explodes on to an opposing stack, the pieces in that space are flipped over. If an explosion causes other spaces to reach capacity, they also explode, and so on. Winning the game requires eliminating all opposing pieces.
