Players take turns to pick a card, and play continues clockwise. One of the three words is chosen by the active player who reads it out. All write down an ingenious, unlikely or just plain silly definition. The active player reads out all the definitions including the correct one. All other players decide what they think is the correct definition. Each player who chooses the correct definition scores a point. Authors of fictional definitions that are chosen also receive a point for each player who chose it. The winner is the player with the most points after twenty rounds.
