"In you Alpha and Omega Sleeplessly play Hide-and-seek." - Sri Chinmoy, Pope John Paul II: God s Heart-Prize winner, Agni Press, 2002 Hide-and-seek is a thematic game where players who are hiding will then close their eyes, while the player who has "it" is searching. Searching is done by calling out loud the number of "it"'s current position. Hiding players who happen to be next to it have to revel themselves as shown. Players who think that "it" might be far away can at anytime decide to come out and run. Then a deck-building race to the safe spot ensues, with cards such as "leapfrog" (over an opponent) and "dash" (double move) and "climb" (double climbing this round. Some of the cards built into the deck and also be used while hiding, such as "distraction", "mommy is coming" and "loose barking dog". Players get points after each round, using them to get better cards for their deck. It is meant for both children and adults, and plays very much like an actual hide-and-seek outdoor game, but indoors. —description from the designer
