Description

がんばれゴエモン!からくり道中~町編~ (Ganbare Goemon! Karakuri Dōchū: Machi Hen) is a Japanese boardgame based on the videogame Ganbare Goemon! Karakuri Dōchū, a title in the franchise of a popular anime series. The videogame revolves around the main character, Goemon, and his exploits in a town in Japan during the Edo period. In the videogame Goemon is portrayed as a noble thief, based on Ishikawa Goemon, the noble thief of Japanese folklore. Goemon must find three passes in order to advance. Some of these passes are found in boxes, secret passages or can be bought. In the boardgame, the players navigate through the same Edo town, collect coins and treasures, and find secret paths. The first person who bought three bills along the road and five shop items and arrived at the goal gate first wins. The game includes tokens for old Japanese coins. —user summary
