Ultima Ratio Regum - Le dernier argument des rois, the last argument of kings, was the devise inscribed on Louis XIV guns. The rules simulate warfare during the Lace Wars (la Guerre en Dentelle) - late XVII - XVIII centuries, using miniatures. 1 mini = 40-60 men 1 gun = 2-4 guns and crew 1 turn = 2-3 min real time Base: varies depending on minis scale, compatible with other rules. Miniatures can be used from 6 to 28 mm. 1- Setup - before the battle starts Then each turn alternating: 2- Start of turn 2.A - Orders phase 2.B - Rally phase 2.C - Initiative 2.D - Activation and orders resolution for side A. B can do opportunity reactions. 2.D.I - Charges declarations 2.D.II - Charges moves 2.D.III - Regular moves 2.D.IV - Fire 2.D.V - M l es 2.E - Activation and orders resolution for side B. A can do opportunity reactions. repeat sequence D.I to D.V 2.F - End of turn - all orders completed 2.G - End of turn and start of next turn (2.A) Rules were published in Vae Victis Hors Serie N 15, in French only.
