Description

Battle of Gettysburg is a two player brigade level game depicting the largest battle of the American Civil War. Battle of Gettysburg recreates specific portions of the battle as game scenarios, using historical units and arrival times, and also includes various alternative history options. Playing times: MacPherson's Ridge (July 1) 60-120 minutes; Longstreet's Attack (July 2), Pickett's Charge (July 3), Meades' Counterattack (alt-history July 4) 120-180 minutes. Battle Games (historical & alt-history) 6 to 12 hours, depending on start date and time. All Battle Games have sudden death conditions that can end the battle whenever fulfilled. Solitaire friendly Components: 22"x25" Game Map 324 9/16" pieces, representing historical combat units and unit or formation status markers. 4 Setup Cards, 2 Order of Appearance Cards and a Game Reference card for each player. 24 page color booklet of rules, play illustrations and detailed historical commentary. 1 Six-sided Die
