Description

Add a little fun to your training! Behind Closed Doors is a card game designed to accompany the training of the commonly named Residence Life Resident Assistant student position. These cards reflect experiences from a multitude of schools and departments and is fun and interesting for new and veteran staff alike because it frames conversations and fosters the sharing of experiences for the supervisor to cover. Staff draw cards and pick one scenario out of the hand to tackle, taking into account the difficulty of the situation which awards different point values. Staffs take turns attempting to resolve the situation to a supervisor or senior staff's satisfaction to earn points and avoid biting off more than they can choose and lose the points indicated. Rare game cards allow for lifelines, passing on difficult scenarios, and other helpful powers. Behind Closed Doors is a training card game for employees of university residence life. Introduce your students to novel real-life situations, build team-work, and foster a supportive environment. —description from the designer
