Rek is a traditional game of Cambodia played on an 8x8 board. Each side has a king and 15 men, each of which moves as the rook in international chess. The object of the game is to capture the opposing king. There are two ways to capture: 1) move so as to immobilize one or more enemy men; 2) move between two enemy men that are on an orthogonal line and are separated from each other by a single square.
