Players divide into two teams, and take turns trying to come up with as many word association matches in a given category as possible, scoring points for correct matches. The game ends when either team reaches a predetermined score, or when a predetermined time limit is reached. There are four categories: Visual Imagery: Try to come up with as many items as you can from the list on the card before your time runs out. (Example: Things you see in a mall") Synonyms: Try to come up with the indicated synonym for each entry in a list of words. (Example: given the word "talk", come up with the word "speak"; given the word "big", come up with the word "large") Word Association: Try to come up with as many associated words as you can from the list on the card before your time runs out. (Example: Come up with words associated with the word "beach") Sound/Letter Cueing: Try to come up with the indicated item from the list on the card, given the initial letter or sound of the word. (Example: Things that are soft - starts with the letter "m" (marshmallows); starts with the "f" sound (fur))
