小さきモノのフェーデ (Chiisaki Mono no Fehde)
2014
Published by Orihik
In 小さきモノのフェーデ (Feud of the Little Ones), two players act as gods competing for a store of faith by manipulating cards on a 6x6 chess-like board. The cards come in three varieties: Units, or characters you can place and move to fight; Objects, which are buildings or other stationary items; and Actions, which affect the board without staying on it. Each round, players draft Units, Objects, and Actions in turn, and then play some of each. In the War phase they get enough turns to move each unit once. Victory is achieved when you destroy all your opponent's units, get over 1000 Faith, or by having the most Faith at the end of four rounds. Playing Units and Objects is free, but when units are destroyed they give Faith to your opponent, making stronger units riskier. Actions give you an immediate advantage but cost Faith, so getting the timing of everything right is of critical importance. —user summary
