Description

怪盗オーシャンズ (Kaitou Oceans) is a Japanese game of phantom thieves robbing a casino (as in Oceans 11). Players go through phases of examining the safe, declaring a robbery, then dividing up the spoils. And one player is secretly a detective, trying to spoil the thieves attempts. The $Billions is stored in a safe, but only one of four locations actually has the money. Players start by examing the decks to find it (players can lie about what they find). When a player feels sure, they declare the job is on and players play bid cards face-down. If the total bid beats the target, the safe is cracked. Then the players bid again in an auction to divide up the loot (matching bids are cancelling). At the end of the game, the player with the most money wins. If the detective can make the robberies fail, or recover the loot, the thieves fail. user summary
